STL Dark History Walking Tour FAQs
Unique Experience
The itinerary of each tour changes, making every outing a unique experience. Routes vary to keep things fresh, giving you the chance to discover different parts of St. Louis’ dark history each time you join.
Duration and Comfort
Tours last about 80 minutes. Since we’ll be walking outside, please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. The tour starts and ends at the same location, so you’ll know exactly where you’ll finish.
Age Requirement
Because of the mature and sometimes graphic content, tours are for ages 18 and older. These are not ghost stories. Everything shared is documented history.
Pet Policy
Only service animals are permitted on tours.
Accessibility
Routes are wheelchair accessible, but please note some city sidewalks may have uneven surfaces. I want every guest to have an enjoyable experience, so if you have mobility questions or concerns, email me at stldarkhistory@gmail.com before booking.
Weather Policy
Tours take place rain or shine. If severe weather makes conditions unsafe, you will be notified by email, and you can choose between a refund or rescheduling.
Photo & Social Media Policy
Photos are welcome during the tour, and I’d love for you to share them. If you post on social media, please tag @stlouisdarkhistory on Instagram.
Group Size
Group sizes are kept manageable so everyone can hear and engage.
Ticket Information
Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased in advance through Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal. This helps keep prices low. Once your payment is received, you will get an email confirmation from stldarkhistory@gmail.com within 72 hours. Be sure to check your spam folder if it does not appear in your inbox. No physical ticket is required; just check in under your name at the start of the tour.
Refund Policy
All ticket sales are non-refundable unless STL Dark History cancels the tour. If something prevents you from attending, email me and I will do my best to reschedule you, though availability cannot be guaranteed.
Day-of Contact
If you are running late or cannot find the meeting point, you can reply to your confirmation email for quick assistance. Exact meeting location details will be included in your confirmation message.
